East Runton

Quite long beach backed by cliffs. Sandy with some smallish rocks.

Having only windsurfed here once I'm not in a position to say much. However, I'd heard good reports from fellow windsurfers, some expert, and also got the impression it's popular with surfers.
On the day I visited it was NW, 4.5 weather with logo high waves, awkward shore dump and viscious eastward rip along the beach so only suitable, on that occasion, for very good intermediates upward.
But, what a cracking day! Logo high dtl waves!
Heartily recommend it and I'll be back :-)
Only really sailable 2 hours each side of low water.
Parking is pay nad display with a steep, but wide, concrete slip to the beach.
The car park is in the middle of East Runton so I don't know how busy it gets in the peak season and although I never checked it out I imagine cafes and suchlike are close to hand.
